Background

In a world so dominated by pessimism, sarcasm, corruption and conflict Today's Israel was born out of concern for the portrayal of Israel in the international media and the negative effects it was having on younger Jewish populations in the Western World in regards to their perception of Israel leading to why they weren't traveling to Israel or making Aliyah.

The media seems so caught up in tragedy, drama and ratings that it seems to ignore the rich tapestry of culture that makes this place so unique. If only there was a way to inform the Jewish communities around the world of the reality of this beautiful place?

Well now there is. It's called Today's Israel!

What is Today's Israel?

The magazines focus is to “experience the Sabra within". To expose Israeli culture in its truest form. The reader will be discovering the sounds, sights and tastes of Israel, truly feeling the essence of this country. We want to show the Jewish world that despite all else that goes on; the Israeli mentality of "life goes on" prevails in every which way you can imagine. Music, Arts, Lifestyle, Food, Health, Cinema and the worlds, and societies that are created around all of these facets of Israeli life are brought to the fore to allow the Diaspora's Jewish Community to explore, with us, the heart and soul of this truly awesome place.

The Goal

Here at Today's Israel we aim to reach every Jewish home in the world in order to educate them about the developing cultural reality of Israel. Via the magazine we aim to foster a new appreciation for Israel in the hopes that the reader will want to experience these interesting facets of Israeli society for themselves, and once here, dispelling for themselves the myths and discovering the realities of what this great country has to offer. And ideally choosing to become apart of it.
