We are seeking an experienced Shopify Lead with advanced expertise in Shopify Plus, Hydrogen, and headless commerce implementations. The ideal consultant will lead technical design, oversee development, and ensure seamless integrations across the eCommerce ecosystem. This role requires strong communication skills, hands-on leadership, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams through complex Shopify builds.

• Lead end-to-end Shopify Plus and Hydrogen-based solutions, including storefront development, headless architecture, and performance optimization.
• Provide technical direction to developers, review code, and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and workflows.

• Implement and customize Shopify Plus features, APIs, and storefront components.
• Develop and integrate custom payment gateways using native Shopify checkout.
• Build and configure tax engine integrations via native checkout workflows.
• Integrate Order Management Systems (OMS) with Shopify Plus through APIs/webhooks.
• Troubleshoot complex front-end and back-end issues in headless setups.

• Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and project managers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Participate in requirements discussions, sprint planning, and solution walkthroughs.
• Communicate technical constraints and provide solution recommendations.

• 8+ years in eCommerce engineering with 2+ years as a Technical Lead.
• Strong hands-on experience with Shopify Plus, Hydrogen, and headless storefront architecture.
• Expertise in custom payment gateway integration and tax engine integration using Native Shopify Checkout.
• Proven experience with Order Management System (OMS) integrations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder interaction, and solution presentation skills.

• Experience with CommerceTools or Zuora integrations.
• Prior experience working in distributed teams with US-based clients.
• Understanding of unified commerce ecosystems and extension frameworks.
